Some of our hosts require a security deposit, which is refundable after checkout. The deposit amount is always mentioned on the listing page.
When the stay is less than 8 nights, it is charged on the check-in day through a credit card amount hold. For more extended stays, the deposit management is managed directly between the host and the guest.
Regarding the deposit, rest assured that this amount will not be charged to your card. Instead, we will temporarily hold the funds that your bank guarantees. Following your checkout and the subsequent final inspection of the property, the hold will be lifted, assuming no damages have been incurred.
If the credit card bank refuses to hold the amount, we ask the guest to pay the deposit directly to the host.
